The app didn't say anything for a long stretch. That's usually correct. Passing Through only speaks when it has something specific and true to say, and some parts of the country have less to say about them. Silence on a familiar road is deliberate too.

A day in my journal has no card, just a line. Also deliberate. Days that had something notable get a card; ordinary days get a quiet line. Blank is better than filler.

No postcard this week. Postcards get made Sunday morning for the week that just closed, and a week where nothing much happened doesn't get one.

Some of my older entries changed. The app rewrites what it says about a day when it learns something new — a photo you added, a correction you made, a fix that shipped. Old entries improving is the app working.

It's not recording. Check the menu — recording is a switch, and it starts off. The dot in the corner of every screen tells you: filled means recording, hollow means paused.

It stopped recording partway through a drive. Usually iOS reclaiming background location. Make sure Passing Through has Always location permission in Settings, and that Low Power Mode is off.

The voice sounds robotic. The good voice needs a connection. Out of coverage, the app falls back to the one built into your phone.

Something crashed, or a screen won't open. Send the diagnostics. That's the one that most needs a report.
